Volunteers Needed for set up, registration, scorekeeping, etc. The IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center is teaming up with Gus Macker to launch a brand-new community tradition: a 3-on-3 basketball tournament benefiting cancer research at IU. Join survivors, supporters, researchers, clinicians, staff, and basketball fans from across the Midwest to turn teamwork into breakthroughs against cancer.
From the lab to the clinic to the court, we are changing the game against cancer every day. Now, we’re inviting the community to join us in a whole new way — with sneakers on the gym floor, fans in the stands, and a shared commitment to advancing lifechanging research.
Welcome Ambassadors and Event Setup and Tear Down Help Needed. Spend a few hours volunteering and enjoy free access to the festival. Here you’ll find traditional arts and crafts, Durstig games, live wiener dog races, Zwergenland for the kids, traditional German food and beverages, and so much more. All proceeds from GermanFest benefit the maintenance and care of the historic Athenaeum
Event Volunteers Needed. Celebrate the strength and resilience of all people affected by breast cancer while also raising vital funds to invest in groundbreaking breast cancer research AND provide real-time assistance to help with treatment, medication, transportation services, and so much more.
