Celebrate the strength and resilience of all people affected by breast cancer while also raising vital funds to invest in groundbreaking breast cancer research AND provide real-time assistance to help with treatment, medication, transportation services, and so much more. From helping us set up the expo area to distributing water along the course, there are plenty of ways to get involved!

    Volunteers are needed for Check-in / registration, Wayfinding, Storytime assistance, Room assistance, Writing workshop assistance, Set-up, and Tear-down. Proof: A Midwest Lit Fest is a free one-day, all-ages literary festival that engages our central Indiana community in enjoying words, books, and ideas, and connecting with their creators. We bring together experienced poets, authors, journalists, spoken-word artists, and other creatives to engage attendees with writing workshops, panels, meet-and-greets, performances, and more. New this year as part of the festival is a local author fair, held in partnership with the Indianapolis Public Library, to be held on the campus of Herron High School.

There will be an in-person traditional and dedicated survivor course! This inclusive survivor course will accommodate varying physical abilities. Our featured guest will share their inspirational story of survival!

    Theater Volunteers Needed. The Heartland International Film Festival returns to connect audiences and filmmakers through the transformative power of film. The festival is an 11-day celebration of 100+ films, 100+ filmmakers, and at several venues across the city. It takes hundreds of volunteers to help put on the Heartland International Film Festival, Indy Shorts International Film Festival and year-round programs in all aspects, including the planning of events, working at the theaters and providing our signature Hoosier hospitality for filmmakers and guests.
