    Volunteers Needed for set up, registration, scorekeeping, etc. The IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center is teaming up with Gus Macker to launch a brand-new community tradition: a 3-on-3 basketball tournament benefiting cancer research at IU. Join survivors, supporters, researchers, clinicians, staff, and basketball fans from across the Midwest to turn teamwork into breakthroughs against cancer.

    From the lab to the clinic to the court, we are changing the game against cancer every day. Now, we’re inviting the community to join us in a whole new way — with sneakers on the gym floor, fans in the stands, and a shared commitment to advancing lifechanging research.

    Beyond Monumental is a not-for-profit actively supporting youth health and well-being by providing access to exceptional events and programs centered around the sport of running. Take part in this fun and vital mission by volunteering for the half marathon, 10K, 5K, and kids one-mile run in this beautiful and historic park.

    Volunteers are needed for Check-in / registration, Wayfinding, Storytime assistance, Room assistance, Writing workshop assistance, Set-up, and Tear-down. Proof: A Midwest Lit Fest is a free one-day, all-ages literary festival that engages our central Indiana community in enjoying words, books, and ideas, and connecting with their creators. We bring together experienced poets, authors, journalists, spoken-word artists, and other creatives to engage attendees with writing workshops, panels, meet-and-greets, performances, and more. New this year as part of the festival is a local author fair, held in partnership with the Indianapolis Public Library, to be held on the campus of Herron High School.
