Celebrate the strength and resilience of all people affected by breast cancer while also raising vital funds to invest in groundbreaking breast cancer research AND provide real-time assistance to help with treatment, medication, transportation services, and so much more. Proof: A Midwest Lit Fest is a free one-day, all-ages literary festival that engages our central Indiana community in enjoying words, books, and ideas, and connecting with their creators. We bring together experienced poets, authors, journalists, spoken-word artists, and other creatives to engage attendees with writing workshops, panels, meet-and-greets, performances, and more. New this year as part of the festival is a local author fair, held in partnership with the Indianapolis Public Library, to be held on the campus of Herron High School.
Course Marshals and Other Volunteers Needed. Brain Bolt 5K Run/Walk. The race benefits the treatment and care of traumatic brain and spine injuries. There will be an in-person traditional and dedicated survivor course! This inclusive survivor course will accommodate varying physical abilities.
