Italian Festival Kitchen and Food Prep at Holy Rosary Catholic Church

The Italian Street festival is an annual event cherished by all here at Holy Rosary. It is by far our largest fundraising opportunity. This parish festival belongs to each one of us here at Holy Rosary and each one of us can play an important role in helping to maintain this tradition for future generations. Holy Rosary parishioners benefit greatly from the over 10 thousand volunteer hours that goes into putting on this annual event. The festival not only provides 25% or more of our yearly parish operating budget; it also brings the community to our doors allowing us to showcase our faith in action to the thousands that attend festival weekend each year.
This year the festival committee is seeking to build upon our strong volunteer
force here at Holy Rosary. With large crowds and new festival areas in need of volunteer staffing, we are asking for an increase in volunteer sign-ups compared to previous years. We would love to have enough people sign up that every volunteer has an opportunity to not only serve, but to also enjoy some of the wonderful food, entertainment, and relaxation that the Italian festival has become known for. That would mean doubling the number of volunteers. With your generosity, we can get there!
