IA General Meeting & Volunteer Education, Indiana Medical History Museum (FULL)

Mar 4, 2026, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

presented by Indianapolis Ambassadors

The Indiana Medical History Museum sits inside the Old Pathology Building on the former grounds of Central State Hospital in Indianapolis. As the oldest surviving free‑standing pathology laboratory in the United States, it preserves the early era of scientific psychiatry and medical research. Visitors can explore original spaces such as the autopsy room, anatomical museum, teaching amphitheater, and early clinical laboratories, all largely intact from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Registration is full. Thank you for your interest.

Afterward, the group is invited to join up for refreshments at our ‘Out After’ at Checkered Flag Tavern (also known as the “5 Star Dive Bar).

Hi, I’ve been sick since Sunday evening and am not recovering as I hoped. I won’t be able to make the meeting.

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself and feel better soon. We’ll hope to see you at Newfields next month.
