IA General Meeting & Volunteer Education, Indiana Medical History Museum
Mar 4, 2026, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
presented by Indianapolis Ambassadors

At a special earlier time, attend the monthly General Meeting of the Indianapolis Ambassadors. The Indiana Medical History Museum sits inside the Old Pathology Building on the former grounds of Central State Hospital in Indianapolis. As the oldest surviving free‑standing pathology laboratory in the United States, it preserves the early era of scientific psychiatry and medical research. Visitors can explore original spaces such as the autopsy room, anatomical museum, teaching amphitheater, and early clinical laboratories, all largely intact from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Come learn how volunteers can contribute at this incredible attraction.
Due to limited seating, registration is required.
