They’re an award-winning affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Inc., a national organization dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and environment in American communities.
The organization believe in shared responsibility, and they know that sustainability starts with love. So they engage and empower citizens of all ages and backgrounds to take action. From tree planting to block-by-block cleanups, they roll up their sleeves to keep Indianapolis beautiful and make our city proud-both today and for generations.
Event Details
Join us the KIB Community Forestry team in Fountain Square to add the the tree canopy! Together we’ll be planting 145 native trees in this neighborhood. Thanks to your participation, the trees you plant will have an impact for years to come — including cleaner air, carbon mitigation, and stormwater retention. The tree planting demonstration will begin at 9:05am the latest, please be sure to arrive to find parking ahead of the start time to ensure you learn how to properly plant a tree.
