On Your Marks, Get Set, GO!!!
Once again, the 500 Festival has asked for our help to host pit stations for upcoming running races:
- 6-Miler Pit Station: Saturday March 9, 2024 – 12 volunteers
- 10-Miler Pit Station: Saturday April 6, 2024 – 12 volunteers
It’s an easy gig if we get enough help. We will set up tables, pour drinks of Gatorade and water, hand them to the runners and walkers as they zoom by, and then we clean up and break down the tables.
As a group, we are moving forward with the March 9th date. But we still need volunteers! Until we meet our max (16), everyone is welcome to register and participate. **If there is enough interest to schedule the Ambassadors for the April 6th date, we can organize that too.

Volunteer Details:
- 500 Festival 6-Miler
- Pit station location will be communicated after registration.
- 16 volunteers are needed.
Date and Times:
- Saturday March 9th
- 8:30am – 11:30am
Volunteer sign-up:
- Visit the 6-Miler Volunteer Registration website HERE.
- If you have not done so already, you will be prompted to create a new profile.
- After profile creation, in the future you will just need your first name and email.
- After creating profile / signed in, at the top of the page you will see a box where you can input an access code. Your access code is Indy24. Click Submit.
- Opportunity will be highlighted below within the other opportunities.
- After you have selected your shift, click Submit Volunteer Registration at the bottom of the page.
