Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra

Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (ISO), founded in 1930, is the largest performing arts organization in Indiana. The ISO has made significant contributions to the world of music through its commitment to artistic excellence, innovative music education programs, and collaborative performances.

The mission of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is to inspire, entertain, educate, and challenge through innovative programs and symphonic music performed at the highest artistic level.

Volunteer Needs

Get involved with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra! There are many ways to volunteer with the ISO, such as ticket taking, and concert ushering. All volunteers have great benefits, like a volunteer banquet, free tickets and parking, and other discounts. You can also get involved with Forte, the ISO’s young professionals’ group, or the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Association (ISOA) promoting music education. Becoming a member of these groups is easy!

Volunteer Registration

If you know someone who is interested in volunteering with the ISO they can follow the link below to apply. As always, they can also reach out to volunteers@indianapolissymphony.org for further assistance.
