Indianapolis Animal Care Services: Animal Care Volunteer

Indianapolis Animal Care Services

Indianapolis Animal Care Services’ dedicated team of volunteers come in weekly to care for hundreds of animals. In 2023 alone, volunteers donated over 23,500 hours; but more help is desperately needed. To become a volunteer, first complete the online volunteer application. Once the application has been reviewed, applicants will get an email about how to sign up for orientation. During orientation, new volunteers will learn about all the different ways they can help and next steps!

IACS also offers one-time volunteer opportunities for groups. Please email Volunteer Coordinator lauren.wyatt@indy.gov for more info.
