About the Event

The Indianapolis Wine Festival (IWF) provides an opportunity to sample from close to 200 wines from around the world. Learn about new and exciting varieties from the experts in a relaxed festival setting. Wine seminars and cooking demonstrations are conducted by event sponsors, exhibiting wineries, area chefs and restaurateurs. Some of the Indy’s best restaurants and caterers will sell their signature dishes. Live music will be performed on the festival stage. This event takes place RAIN or SHINE.

Volunteer Details

Please signup at the following website before signing up with IA:  http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c094aacae2ca6fc1-indianapolis.

Volunteers for the festival will be asked to fill positions at any of 4 stations on the festival grounds: admissions gate, beverage sales, hospitality and vendor servicing. All positions will be assigned at volunteer check-in.

Admission gate: sell tickets, scan tickets, distribute wine glasses, tasting coupons & programs

Beverage sales: sell refreshments, including soda, water, beer and wine

Hospitality servicing: greet guests of corporate hospitality village; ensure guests have proper credentials for entry.

Vendor servicing (as needed): assist vendors at their booth by distributing sample products

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your shift time and work the entire shift. You should also be prepared to stand on your feet the entire time.

Entry into the venue is free.

Volunteer Attire

Casual, shirt will be provided.
