IA General Meeting & Volunteer Education at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields
Apr 2, 2026, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
presented by Indianapolis Ambassadors

All are invited a special THURSDAY General Meeting of the Indianapolis Ambassadors.
The Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) at Newfields is one of the oldest and largest encyclopedic art museums in the United States, with a permanent collection of more than 54,000 works spanning African, American, Asian, and European art. Its strengths include Neo‑Impressionist painting, Edo‑period Japanese art, Chinese ceramics and bronzes, and major holdings of Gauguin, the Pont‑Aven School, and J.M.W. Turner.
Newfields is a 152-acre campus in Indianapolis that includes the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA), Oldfields, and 100 Acres Park. The campus features art galleries, gardens, and a historic home. New and exciting opportunities are always being developed and added. We have volunteer shifts that fit any schedule with shifts on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
As a special treat, Indianapolis Ambassadors and their guests are invited to explore the museum and Newfields for free on Thursday afternoon prior to the meeting.
Space is limited. Reserve your tickets here. Guests are encouraged to pay what they wish on this day so they can select a free ticket or make a donation if they wish. By reserving their own tickets, they are able to explore our campus before the meeting as well.
After the meeting, the group is invited to join up for refreshments at our ‘Out After’ at TBA.
