American Red Cross “Sound the Alarm, Save a Life” Campaign

Join fellow Red Cross volunteers in more than 100 communities across the country to Sound the Alarm, a home fire safety and smoke alarm installation event. During this nationwide home fire safety and smoke alarm installation event, volunteers across the country will install 100,000 free smoke alarms in high risk neighborhoods in over 100 cities. Committing to volunteer means joining 35,000 volunteers across the country to make homes safer by installing smoke alarms, replacing alarm batteries and helping families create escape plans.
