Global Explorers Summer Youth Programs and Field Trips at the Global Village

Volunteers Needed for Welcoming Artists, Preparing Classrooms, Lunch Support.

Our Global Explorers Program is a summer program that aims to “shrink the globe” by immersing youth participants in a different continent or cultural region each day. This youth program teaches kids to take pride in sharing the story of their culture, learn to appreciate the cultures of their neighbors, and discover the similarities that we share

Volunteers are welcome to come for any part of the day for a few hours or the whole day after clearing a background check.

• Dates: Monday – Friday, June 8 through July 24
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Volunteers are welcome to come for any part of the day for a few hours or the whole day after clearing a background check.

• Welcoming Artists: Be the first friendly face our guest artists see! Help greet them and get them settled as they prepare for their workshop with the kids.
• Classroom Prep: Help prepare materials for the next day’s program.
• Lunch Support: Help pick up and serve lunch to keep our participants fueled and ready to explore the globe!
