All aboard for the 16th Annual Fifth Third Bank Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure!
Volunteers are needed every single day that the exhibit is open for the next three months. This exhibit is almost ENTIRELY volunteer run! Our awesome volunteer train leads who handle the maintenance and opening and closing of the exhibit will need your assistance to greet our guests, answer questions, and keep an eye on the exhibit.
A beloved annual holiday tradition, Fifth Third Bank Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure is a breathtaking model train display featuring nine G-scale trains traveling through spectacular landscapes and past famous landmarks of Indianapolis and the American West. Each scene is masterfully crafted from natural materials and adorned with festive holiday decorations and twinkling lights, creating a magical experience for visitors of all ages.
Date: November 15, 2025- January 19, 2026
See exhibit Mon-Sat 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sun 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
Extended Hours: See exhibit with extended hours December 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Admission: Exhibit is included with the cost of museum admission

Dates and Times:
- Most days from November 15th thru January 19th
- Shifts from 10am – 7pm
Volunteer sign-up and training:
- Submit your volunteer application at https://eiteljorg.org/give-and-join/volunteer/
- Once volunteers background checks are clear, Rebecca will provide the sign up for shifts

Parking Recommendations:
- Enter White River State Park (WRSP) underground parking garage from Washington Street.
- Your parking will be validated by the museum.
