Walk to Defeat ALS

Many Volunteers Needed. This inspiring community event brings together individuals, families, and teams who are united in the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). By volunteering, you’ll play an essential role in creating a meaningful and uplifting experience for participants, from cheering on walkers and handing out water to helping with registration and event setup. Every hour you give contributes directly to the success of this event and helps raise vital funds for ALS care, advocacy, and research.

Volunteering at the Walk to Defeat ALS is also a chance to be part of something bigger than yourself. You’ll meet incredible people—families, survivors, and supporters—who are all driven by hope and compassion. Come lend your energy and enthusiasm to an unforgettable day of hope and solidarity!

There will be some swag to grab at the event. We have volunteer lanyards and appreciation pins this year instead of t-shirts. There will be light breakfast snacks for all. Parking is free and we suggest entering at gate 2: 1051 E 42nd St.
