Volunteer at ZooBoo to help create an environment of fun! This family favorite is offered five nights per week (Wednesday-Sunday) Sept. 24 through Nov. 2nd
Spooktacular Volunteer Opportunities. ZooBoo returns to the Indianapolis Zoo this fall, and we are seeking volunteers ages 16 and older for another season of family-friendly fun. Volunteer opportunities are available five nights a week—Wednesday through Sunday—from Sept. 24 to Nov. 2, 2025. As a thank you for your time, volunteers will receive 2 complimentary general admission Zoo tickets at the end of the shift for a future visit. - Positions include:
- Bayou Games,
- Leeward Corral,
- and Mirror Maze
Dates and Times:
- Five nights per week (Wed-Sun) Sept. 24 through Nov. 2
- Shift times are 1:30-4:30/5:30pm, 4-7pm or 5-9pm.
Volunteer sign-up and training:
- All ZooBoo and Member Preview volunteer shifts are available to individuals including small groups ages 16 and older.

Volunteer benefits:
- For joining this event, volunteers will receive two Zoo tickets as a thank-you!
Volunteer Requirements:
- Volunteer attire for the event is a solid-color shirt and khaki or black pants.
- All Volunteers will be given a ZooBoo-specific lanyard to wear and return at the end of their shift.
- Halloween costumes/accessories may not be worn by volunteers during the event.
- Please be prepared to complete tasks outdoors in all weather conditions.
