Coats for Kids Distribution Day

Coats for Kids distribution will be held on November 8, and thousands of children from across Central Indiana can come on this very special day to pick out a free warm winter coat, scarf, hat, and gloves. Coats for Kids will be held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion from 8am-1pm, and is a partnership between The Salvation Army of Central Indiana with WTHR and Classic Cleaners.

We need your help to make sure that the thousands of children who show up will leave with warm winter coats. We invite you to assist us in one of the following various roles: greet families, help check in families, monitor lines, restock coats, help children select a coat, and assist with tear down. Shift times are from 7-10:30am and 10am-1:30pm, and we are looking for individuals, families and groups to come out and volunteer with us.
