2025 Indianapolis Heart Walk

The annual Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s largest, free and public event to celebrate a year of fundraising efforts, uplift survivors, remember loved ones, and walk together to save lives.

Volunteer Opportunities:
6:00am-8:00am Set up
8:00am – 10:30am Heart Walk Event
8:30am-11:00am Route
Additional special volunteer opportunities include:
1. AHA Mascot – Hearty
2. A pep team/cheerleaders, etc. for the finish line!
If you know of any groups interested in being our start/finish line pep team or drumline, or an individual willing to be our mascot – please let us know!

General volunteer opportunities include setting up the Heart Walk Event, placing signage along the route, handing out and restocking refreshments, encouraging walkers and survivors, event clean up and more. We are more than happy to provide documentation for this event to count towards volunteer hours for schools, work, social clubs, etc.
