General Meeting at the Global Village Welcome Center

All are invited monthly General Meeting of the Indianapolis Ambassadors.

The Global Village is the International Marketplace’s welcoming space where all cultures gather, share, and celebrate their traditions. Thousands of community-curated objects found in the exhibit space highlight cultures from around the world, with an emphasis on those represented in Indiana. This focused effort on representation provides a sense of identity and belonging for the diverse members of the International Marketplace neighborhood.

The International Marketplace is composed of neighborhood residents, business owners, and engaged community leaders who promote economic growth in the neighborhood. The International marketplace Coalition’s efforts have already helped the Indianapolis Marketplace area become recognized as a thriving cultural, commercial, and connected destination .Come learn how volunteers can contribute to make all of this possible.

Afterward, the group is invited to join up for refreshments for our ‘Out After’ at La Hacienda on LaFayette Road.

Parking instruction:
○ There should be a good amount of parking available on the side of the L-shaped building that is along Lafayette Road.
○ “Don’t park on the side near the mall.”

After Social:
○ After the meeting, join an optional social event at La Hacienda on Lafayette Road
