Q: Where/When is the event?

Indianapolis 5K & Monumental Mile is on Saturday, June 21 at University Park in Indianapolis.

Q: Where can we find a schedule and description of each of the events?

(If your profile isn’t in the system when you enter your name and e-mail, you will need to fill out your profile and sign the waiver first, but after that you’ll be able to see all the details, dates, times, etc. for each shift!)

Q: What time and how long are the volunteer shifts?

They are different times, but each shift is typically no more than 4 hours long.

Q: What are the physical requirements?

Some walking around and standing. Heavy lifting is rarely required and typically only in operations roles.

Q: What benefits are provided for the volunteers? Food? Swag? Parking?

Volunteers will receive a super soft volunteer t-shirt, free parking in the Senate Street Garage, and water and snacks available.

Q: What training is required?

Instructions and training will be provided at the beginning of their shifts or sent in an e-mail beforehand.

Q: What is the dress code?

Dress is casual – A t-shirt to wear will be provided upon arrival. Volunteers are required to wear close toed shoes.
