About the Event

Juneteenth or Freedom Day, is a holiday commemorating the announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas in June 1865. In honor of Juneteenth, the celebration and museum admission will be free for all. Lots of activities, demonstrations and performances will be happening.

Volunteer Details

ALL first time Eiteljorg volunteers MUST complete a volunteer application and pass a background check before being considered for the volunteer assignment. Contact Deborah Kish,dkish@eiteljorg.com

POSITIONS: Hands on kids activities, greeters, gold panning, and booth sitter.

FREE volunteer t-shirt and FREE parking at the White River State Park underground garage provided.

Volunteer Attire

FREE volunteer t-shirt will be provided and casual wear.
