Volunteers Needed for the Angel Tree Toy Shop
Every Christmas there are children lacking life’s vital needs because their families are struggling financially and cannot afford the expense. As you can imagine, it takes hundreds of volunteer hours to make Angel Tree Toy Shop happen each year.
Please consider joining us in one or more of the following roles:
- organize a toy drive,
- accept gifts being dropped off at one of three locations,
- help families complete their applications for assistance,
- inventory and organize gifts during sorting days, and
- help families select gifts when they come to shop on distribution day.
Distribution will consist of a shopping experience where families will select gifts at either our Eagle Creek corps (4400 N. High School Rd.) or Fountain Square corps (1337 Shelby St.) on December 14, 15, 18 and 19 between 10am-6pm.
We welcome both individual volunteers and groups of volunteers (please note volunteers under 18 years of age must be with a parent/guardian/adult) to help us ensure a successful Angel Tree Toy Shop program at our Eagle Creek corps or Fountain Square corps.

- Many volunteers are needed.
- Positions include:
- check in families,
- monitor the parking area,
- greet families while they wait for their shopping time,
- walk with families through the shopping experience as they select gifts,
- restock the shopping tables with gifts,
- and help families load gifts into their vehicle.
Dates and Times:
- Thursday, 12/14, Friday 12/15, Monday 12/18, and Tuesday 12/19
- Shifts: 9:30am-12:30pm, 12pm-3:30pm, and 3pm-6:30pm
