This six-day summer festival celebrates the unique\, creative and captivating art of short films in a wide range of categories\, including horror\, comedy\, documentary\, narrative\, animated and more. \nThe festival will feature screenings/events at Living Room Theaters\, Newfields\, Pins Mechanical\, and VisionLoft Mass Ave—just to name a few. We have several openings for Theater Volunteers\, After Hours Greeters\, Bartenders (with a license)\, and other exciting roles! \nHeartland Film couldn’t do this without some incredible volunteers! DESCRIPTION:FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic and Elanco present The Sniffin’ Snout Walkabout – a fun and casual community dog walk and local business scavenger hunt. Gather a team (up to four adults\, any number of kids\, and one dog) to follow the clues for activations and treats at each business stop before finding the next destination. Meet back at the FACE clinic parking lot for cornhole games\, food and ice cream\, doggie paw print art\, prizes\, and more. SUMMARY:Holy Cross Wine & Cheese Festival
DESCRIPTION:Many Volunteers Needed.\nThe Holy Cross Wine & Cheese Festival is a vibrant summer celebration of community\, flavor\, and fun in the heart of Indianapolis. Held on the Sturm Avenue Esplanade\, the festival features wine and cheese tastings\, local vendors\, live music\, Cheese Wars\, a guided Somm Experience\, a Kid’s Zone\, and more. A smash hit for two seasons off-Broadway\, the show has toured all across the country over the past 50 years. Through a collage of popular songs\, dance\, and fast-paced images\, Decades touches certain times and emotions in American history over the past 175 years. \nAn IA social is being held on Friday\, July 31st at 7pm\, but complementary tickets are also available for the shows held on Saturday\, Aug 1st at 7pm\, and Sunday\, Aug 2nd at 2:30pm. DESCRIPTION:🩰 Indianapolis Ballet: Ballet in the Park\, Sat Aug 15th 5:45-11pm\, The Taggart Memorial Amphitheatre at Riverside Regional Park\nVolunteers Needed to Usher/Greet\, Parking\, Attendance Counting\, and Cleanup\nIndianapolis Ballet and Indy Parks are joining forces to kick off summer with a FREE dance performance! This mixed-repertoire production is the perfect addition to your summer and offers the chance to experience ballet in an outdoor setting. \nThough seats are unassigned for this performance\, we would still like to have plenty of ushers present to assist with general seating and performance questions. Parking directors will help direct parking and direct walkers towards the amphitheater. Tabling volunteers will assist with capturing email signups\, giveaways\, and answering questions about the organization.
