DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are needed for Saturday June 25 & Sunday June 26th for the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art’s “30th Annual “Indian Market & Festival” 9:30am to 5:30pm on the grounds of the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art\, 500 West Washington St.\, Indianapolis IN \nAll Indy Ambassadors\, Family and Friends: Join us this summer for an Indian Market unlike any other. We’re celebrating a defining capstone project for the museum\, the reopening of our new Native American galleries on June 25\, during the first in-person market since 2019. Shop for jewelry\, pottery\, paintings\, beadwork and more from more than 140 artists from across the United States and Canada. Enjoy cultural performances including music\, dance and storytelling\, and family art-making activities while eating fry bread and other food from local vendors. \nUSE this Sigup link to get registered to help: https://signup.com/go/uYrMSsy \nAll volunteer roles and shifts are shown at the Signup site. There are 70 different shift-role combinations on the Saturday & Sunday\, along with a Training Day and more limited shifts on Thursday 6/23 and Friday 6/24. DESCRIPTION:Indy Ambassadors General Meeting August 3\, 2022 – Will be training for ” Museum by Moonlight” on Saturday August 27th\, 2022  \nSign Up to Volunteer before Meeting!!! \nMuseum by Moonlight is the largest annual fundraiser for the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. This adults-only event is from 8:00 p.m. – midnight and features entertainment\, bars\, and food from 20+ local food vendors. Over 100 volunteers will help make this event successful. \nMuseum by Moonlight is on Saturday\, August 27\, 2022. There are two shifts available for this event. First event shift will be from 7:15 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Second event shift will be from 9:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.   \nYou are welcome to attend the event when you are not volunteering. Because the food for the event is donated and in limited supply\, we ask that you do not eat the food from the local vendors. DESCRIPTION:This month’s general meeting will be held in the Fountain Square Theatre. There is FREE parking at the Fountain Square public parking lot at the corner of Shelby and Morris St behind the Forte building or Free parking on the streets\, with a two-hour restriction from 9am to 6pm M-F.\nAfter our general meeting\, A representative with the Fountain Square Association will give a presentation about the history of the area and take us on a tour. After the meeting\, we will have a social at La Margarita Mexican Restaurant\, which is within walking distance. La Margarita Menu Fountain Square is located at the intersection of Virginia Ave\, Shelby and Prospect Streets. Fountain Square was the first commercial historic district in Indiana\, its existing buildings span more than a century of development from 1871 to the present. Today\, Fountain Square is one of the six Indianapolis Cultural Districts and is linked to the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. Newcomers are welcome. There are no fees to join. Like we did for our Indian Market and Festival volunteer roles\, we are using Signup.com again to let you sign up for your volunteer spots on your own. Please see the descriptions on the Signup for more information about what you can expect to be doing. \nWhen you click the link below you will be able to see the times and descriptions of each role. \nLink to sign up: https://signup.com/go/PGcPswS \nYou will also see that on September 7th and 8th we are offering training sessions for volunteers.
