DESCRIPTION:All are invited monthly General Meeting of the Indianapolis Ambassadors.\nButler University offers a diverse range of programs and opportunities for staff\, faculty\, and students to learn and engage with the Indianapolis community in a responsible and mutually beneficial manner. \nWe’ll be meeting in Robertson Hall where we’ll be introduced to Butler’s Indianapolis Community Requirement\, a core curriculum requirement that mandates all students to participate in sustained community engagement as part of their coursework. We’ll have the opportunity to share about our organization and discuss potential collaborations . \nAs a special treat\, we’ll be spending an hour at the Holcomb Observatory and Planetarium. We’ll be given a tour\, shown a short movie\, and\, if the weather cooperates\, we’ll gaze into the depths of space through their mighty telescopes. \nSpace is limited. RSVP on Meetup today. This exhibit is almost ENTIRELY volunteer run! Our awesome volunteer train leads who handle the maintenance and opening and closing of the exhibit will need your assistance to greet our guests\, answer questions\, and keep an eye on the exhibit. \nA beloved annual holiday tradition\, Fifth Third Bank Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure is a breathtaking model train display featuring nine G-scale trains traveling through spectacular landscapes and past famous landmarks of Indianapolis and the American West.
