SUMMARY:USA Swimming: National Championships
DESCRIPTION:The Indiana University Natatorium – Indianapolis welcomes Indy Ambassadors back to the Nat for USA Swimming’s 2025 Toyota National Championships in June as part of our Volunteer Team for this prestigious competition. \nElite athletes from across the United States will be returning to Indianapolis to vie for a coveted spot on Team USA at this year’s international swimming competitions. This talented field of athletes will include many of the 2024 Paris Olympians named just last summer in Lucas Oil Stadium at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming. \nThe IU Natatorium\, in partnership with Center Grove Aquatic Club\, is recruiting energetic and talented volunteers to be part of our awesome Volunteer Team for the 2025 Toyota National Championships. Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age. All volunteers will receive complimentary meals and parking during their shifts plus a commemorative meet shirt. Fun and fellowship are guaranteed! \nThe IU Natatorium generally requires volunteers to register for at least three shifts to participate. As a special consideration\, Indianapolis Ambassadors are allowed to sign up for just one shift if that is preferable. We received wonderful reviews about the performance of our volunteer team thanks to incredible volunteers like you! You are appreciated! \nIn a bit over two weeks\, the Indiana University Natatorium at Indianapolis will welcome numerous Olympians and accomplished high school athletes to the 2025 Indy Summer Cup. This elite competition will be held from Wednesday – Saturday\, June 25-28\, and will begin on Wednesday evening with the women’s 800 freestyle and men’s 1500 freestyle events followed by three days of prelims-finals competition at 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM from Thursday – Saturday. This year’s Indy Summer Cup will feature approximately 400 of the country’s most accomplished athletes. \nThe Local Organizing Committee is currently recruiting a talented volunteer team to support the athletes competing in this meet and our visiting coaches and fans during their time in Indy. A variety of volunteer positions are available including on-deck timers. All volunteers will receive complimentary parking and meals during their shifts plus the opportunity for fun and fellowship. DESCRIPTION:REVERB: Barenaked Ladies Sun. July 20th at the Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park \nVolunteers needed to promote environmental causes. REVERB is an environmental nonprofit based in Maine working to make the music industry more sustainable. We’ve worked in the past with artists like Billie Eilish\, The Lumineers\, ODESZA\, and more on a number of programs to help reduce their carbon footprint. \nWe’re looking for volunteers to help promote environmental causes at the upcoming Barenaked Ladies show. Volunteers work with us to encourage fans to reduce single-use plastics and take meaningful climate action at the show. \nVolunteers will receive a pass to watch the show in exchange for their hard work. Our goal is to maintain and preserve our historic near eastside neighborhood\, ensuring it remains a beautiful and inviting place for all.
