DESCRIPTION:The Museum by Moonlight Event brings 100 volunteers to partner with museum staff to provide a special child free night where guests 21 years and older explore five floors of the museum. The event is held on August 28\, 2021 from 8:00pm until 12:00am August 29\, 2021 In addition\, the museum is packed with activities\, a silent disco\, and tasty food bites from across the city. \nTo volunteer for this event\, you:\n• Must be 21 years of age (bring proof to training session)\n• Must attend a required volunteer training session or a refresher training if you volunteered for this event last year.\n• Must wear all black and comfortable shoes\n• Must wear volunteer vest during your shift (vests will be issued when you arrive for your shift)\nThere is a 3-step process to sign up for a shift:\n• Step 1: Fill out the volunteer application form at http://bit.ly/MbMIA \nUpon registration\, you will receive an e-mail with more information about signing up for a training session and choosing your Shift for the evening.\n• Step 2: Go to this link: Museum by Moonlight Training Session \nOnce you have signed up for a training. You will be able to search for the various jobs and time-slots for the evening of the event by using the link at step 3. A special Zoo members preview is offered Oct. 4 and 5.\nVolunteer opportunities include:\n\nPumpkin School Assistant: Provide guests with an exciting experience that will showcase a fun science experiment! Pulse families into Pumpkin School to learn cool facts from Professor Pumpkin while maintaining one-way traffic.\n\nJack’s Barn Host: Welcome guests to Jack’s Barn. Monitor one-way traffic flow through building and keep an eye on the animals.\n\nMirror Maze Assistant: Encourage guests to use the back of their hands or elbows to navigate through a lighted a-maze-ing experience! Remind guests there are no strollers\, motorized carts\, or food/drink allowed in the maze.\n\nTrick or Treat Trail Assistant: Distribute treats or treat bags to young guests to put a smile on their face! Also offer allergy-free or non-food alternatives. Direct guests through the one-way Trick or Treat Trail path to create unforgettable memories while enjoying a sweet treat!\n\nFloater – Pumpkin Town: Oversee Pumpkin Town activities (Pumpkin School\, Jack’s Barn\, or Mirror Maze). Assist volunteers with breaks in these areas when needed. Answer any questions from guests when not providing breaks.\n\nEnrichment Craft Assistant: Monitor enrichment craft station while encouraging guests to make a\nfang-tastic enrichment craft that will be given to our animals. Collect paper chains to be transported to the animal care staff.\n\nBroomstick Alley Attendant: Welcome guests to Broomstick Alley for some wicked fun. Distribute a broom and kickball to each participant.\n*Please note: For all volunteer assignments\, please ensure guest and animal safety. \nVolunteer opportunities are available each day of the event. Shift times are 1:30-4:30/5:30pm\, 4-7pm or 5-9pm. DESCRIPTION:Loop Events is working alongside the Christian band Newsboys for a concert at Northview Church\, 12900 Hazel Dell Pkwy\, Carmel\, IN on Tuesday October 12\, 2021 from 5:00pm to 11:00pm to assist ChildFund International in signing up sponsors of kids overseas. \nYou will be volunteering for the non-profit organization ChildFund International. Your duties include standing at a table for 30-45 minutes at a time\, handing out packets to patrons\, answering questions\, and aiding patrons in signing up to sponsor a child. Volunteers must be available for volunteer training at 5:00pm. You are encouraged to arrive at Northview Church at 4:30pm to allow time for parking and to find the volunteer entrance. Volunteers will be able to enjoy most of the show! No need to purchase tickets. DESCRIPTION:Indy Ambassadors show your volunteer Spirits by signing up to pack Meals for Hoosiers all over Indiana. \nMarathon Set up on Oct0ber 14\, 2021 or pack meal October 14th through November 19th\, 2021. Choose when you want to volunteer and when to do it. \nThe Million Meal Marathon is a signature event\, and in 2021 we’ll celebrate 11 years of fighting hunger at home. This year’s Marathon will remain a little different due to COVID-19. In addition to the Tip-Off with the Indiana Pacers at Indiana Farmer’s Coliseum\, the Marathon will bring together smaller groups to pack meals to benefit Hoosiers.
