DESCRIPTION:The Heartland International Film Festival returns to connect audiences and filmmakers through the transformative power of film. The festival is an 11-day celebration of 300+ films\, 100+ filmmakers\, and several venues across the city. About 200 volunteers are needed to make this event successful.\n“WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS! SUMMARY:Coats for Kids Distribution Day at State Fairgrounds
DESCRIPTION:Coats for Kids distribution will be held on October 14. Thousands of children from across Central Indiana can come on this very special day to pick out a free warm winter coat\, scarf\, hat\, and gloves.\nCoats for Kids will be held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion from 8am-2pm\, and is a partnership between The Salvation Army of Central Indiana with Classic Cleaners and WTHR \nWe need your help to make sure that the thousands of children who show up will leave with warm winter coats. We invite you to assist us in one of the following various roles: greet families\, help check in families\, restock coats\, help children select a coat\, and assist with tear down. Give guests a gentle twist and push to start them down the slide. (5-10:00pm)\nHAYRIDE LOADING/UNLOADING: move stairs and direct guests as they board and exit the wagons. Use flashlights to illuminate stairs after dark.
