All Indy Ambassadors and Friends WELCOME TO COME! \nGleaners Food Bank works with a network of more than 300 food pantries\, soup kitchens\, schools\, and community partners to fight against food insecurity in Indiana. The Indy Ambassadors have secured an opportunity to assist them in that mission by working with them during one of them upcoming Food Pantry\, Drive-Thru distributions. Volunteers will load cars with pre-boxed food and direct traffic for the contactless\, drive-thru distribution. \nWhy is this project important? We’ll serve around 500-600 households during the drive-thru distribution\, many of whom are not comfortable with in-person shopping or have disabilities or illnesses that prevent them from coming inside \nDate and time of volunteerism: Thursday\, October 6th 4:30-8pm at Gleaners Food Bank – 3737 Waldemere Ave\, Indpls\, IN 46241  Arrive by 4:15pm \nAll volunteers will register/sign up at the following link:\nhttp://indyambassadors.gleaners.volunteerhub.com/ \n!!! DESCRIPTION:Edna Martin Christian Center will host the 4th Annual Goelzer Investment Management Monopoly Tournament on  Saturday October 22 at the center at 2605 E. 25th St. Indianapolis\, IN from 8:00am – 1:00pm. The event attracts players from around the country\, for fun\, and sometimes intense competition. Volunteer training starts at 8:15am SHARP!!! \nBecause this is an official\, sanctioned tournament\, players may not also act as bankers. Therefore\, each table will need a volunteer banker. I’m planning for 64 competitors\, so that means we’ll need 16 bankers. \nIf you’ve played Monopoly before\, it won’t be hard\, though there are some additional tournament rules. New York St.\, Downtown Indianapolis. \nFollow these instruction for Free Parking at the IU Natatorium:  \n\nAll Indy Ambassadors members should park in the Natatorium Sports Garage designated as XD on theIUPUI Campus Map.\nDrive into the first garage entrance labeled Visitor Section above the entry; pull a ticket upon entry.  This ticket will be needed to exit.\nEnter the Natatorium through the doors on the west side of the first floor of the parking garage.  Greeters will be there to direct members to the meeting location which is the on-deck hospitality room.\nAll attendees will be given a parking voucher to exit the garage.  To exit\, insert the parking ticket that was pulled on entry and then insert the parking voucher as payment.\n\nCome for a tour of the facilitiy and learn about volunteer opportunities coming this Winter and in 2023. DESCRIPTION:Volunteer for the 7th annual Holistic Hub Wellbeing Fest on Sunday November 13\, 2022 – 11:00am – 5:00pm Location: Biltwell Event Center\, 950 South White River Pkwy West Drive\, downtown Indianapolis. \nTWO SHIFTS: 8:30am – 1:00pm or 1:00pm – 5:30pm or the entire time. \nVolunteers will help with vendor set-up\, greet attendees\, help with registration\, and as floaters on the floor to guide attendees and assist vendors as needed. Volunteers gain free access to our event\, so you can volunteer and have the experience of attending as well! Snacks will be provided\, as well as an Indy Holistic Hub t-shirt. AKA\, time for our Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure model train exhibit! We really rely on our incredible volunteers like you to give our guests an experience they’ll never forget. \nJingle Rails will run from Nov. 19-Jan. 16\, and we need around six volunteers a day for that whole time span! The museum is\, however\, closed on Thanksgiving\, Christmas\, and New Year’s Day. \nYour tasks could include helping at the admissions desk\, greeting guests\, answering questions about the trains\, or helping keep our family area organized.
