DESCRIPTION:Known as the state’s premier art and food experience\, the Indiana Artisan Marketplace features two fun-filled days in the spring to engage with artists\, see their work\, watch them create\, taste their foods\, sample their wines\, and buy the best in Hoosier craftsmanship. \nAbout 90 artisans from across Indiana are expected to showcase their original art\, fine craft small-batch food\, and locally produced wine\, spirits and other beverages. Many will demonstrate their creative process in their booths. Food and beverage producers will offer samples up and down the food aisle. \nVolunteers are needed from April 4-7 to do a wide variety of easy tasks. This service supports our mission to get more people riding by encouraging them to ride to various events around central Indiana. DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Mutt Cup is an annual craft cocktail competition hosted and benefitted by FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic in Indianapolis\, Indiana. The event will take place 5-8 pm on Thursday\, April 25\, 2024 at the Biltwell Event Center\, 950 S White River Pkwy W Dr\, Indianapolis (https://maps.app.goo.gl/9T8REhayZXD9dnbq9). \nThe Mutt Cup started in 2014 to raise money for local Indianapolis Animal Shelters and Clinics\, and now funds FACE Animal Clinic. The event features some of Indianapolis’ best bartenders. Tickets for the 2024 Mutt Cup will be available starting in early March. \nThey could use 3-4 volunteers for the event on Thursday\, April 25 from 5-8pm. The volunteers will be primarily runners or greeters directing attendees the proper way\, or assisting the check-in table. Mr. Aaron Klauber\, Community Outreach Specialist of FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic would be happy to meet with assigned volunteers via zoom or in person any time before the event to go over information.

DESCRIPTION:Volunteer in the neighborhood at Día del Niño at Be My Neighbor Day!\nVolunteers at the welcome table will greet and welcome guests\, assist guests with check-in\, pass out take home activity bags and collect data from guests. Post Office volunteers will assist guests with writing and “mailing” letters to community helpers. Volunteer in the “tattoo parlor” will assist guests and apply temporary tattoos. Volunteer in the Art Room at Día del Niño at Be My Neighbor Day will assist guests with crafts\, maintain supplies and cleanliness of the art room. Volunteer in the animals/fire truck area are needed to help with line management\, interact with families while they wait\, provide event information and welcome guests to the event. \nHelp Daniel Tiger throughout the day as a Character Assistant. As a Character Assistant you will help the character volunteer get the costume on\, be their eyes and ears and monitor the time the volunteer is in the costume (30 minutes max at a time). This role will also heavily interact with children and their families so the volunteer should be comfortable having family interactions. Have experience in photography? Help them capture Día del Niño at Be My Neighbor Day through photos! Volunteer photographers will roam and take photos throughout the various event areas and activities. Volunteer must have access to their own camera.
