DESCRIPTION:This month’s general meeting will be held in the Fountain Square Theatre. There is FREE parking at the Fountain Square public parking lot at the corner of Shelby and Morris St behind the Forte building or Free parking on the streets\, with a two-hour restriction from 9am to 6pm M-F.\nAfter our general meeting\, A representative with the Fountain Square Association will give a presentation about the history of the area and take us on a tour. After the meeting\, we will have a social at La Margarita Mexican Restaurant\, which is within walking distance. La Margarita Menu Fountain Square is located at the intersection of Virginia Ave\, Shelby and Prospect Streets. Fountain Square was the first commercial historic district in Indiana\, its existing buildings span more than a century of development from 1871 to the present. Today\, Fountain Square is one of the six Indianapolis Cultural Districts and is linked to the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. Newcomers are welcome. There are no fees to join. Like we did for our Indian Market and Festival volunteer roles\, we are using Signup.com again to let you sign up for your volunteer spots on your own. There\, you will check in with the Volunteer Coordinator in the main lobby of the theater. \nVolunteers will need to arrive to the theater one hour before the start of each performance. As a ticket scanner\, volunteers will need to have an iPhone or Android with which they can download our ticket scanning app. Seating maps and other important information will be provided once on site. Parking at Newfields is free\, but please be sure to arrive with plenty of time to find parking\, especially for matinee performances. Volunteers will need to arrive dressed in all black or darker colors. Volunteer tags will be provided. IN\nStart October 9th at 10:00am at the Tour Entrance of the Indiana State Capitol\, 200 W. Washington St. between N. Capitol Ave & Senate Ave. Parking is Free on Sundays in this area. From here we will break up into cars to go to Hard Truth Distilling Company- 418 Old State Rd 46\, Nashville\, IN for a 12:00 Noon Lunch reservation. Everyone can do what they want after Lunch. Guest can break into car based on interests. (Take Hard Truth Bourbon Tours\, Brown County State Park Leaf viewing\, Nashville\, IN shopping. Etc. \nAfter Lunch at Hard Truth Distillery those interested in participating in one of Hard Truth Tours\, individuals can pay for a tour once we arrive onsite.
