DESCRIPTION:Indy Ambassadors General Meeting August 3\, 2022 – Will be training for ” Museum by Moonlight” on Saturday August 27th\, 2022  \nSign Up to Volunteer before Meeting!!! \nMuseum by Moonlight is the largest annual fundraiser for the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. This adults-only event is from 8:00 p.m. – midnight and features entertainment\, bars\, and food from 20+ local food vendors. Over 100 volunteers will help make this event successful. \nMuseum by Moonlight is on Saturday\, August 27\, 2022. There are two shifts available for this event. First event shift will be from 7:15 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Second event shift will be from 9:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.   \nYou are welcome to attend the event when you are not volunteering. Because the food for the event is donated and in limited supply\, we ask that you do not eat the food from the local vendors. There will be food available in the 100 hallway classrooms and this will be replenished throughout the evening. \nVolunteer Requirements \nMust be 21 years of age (bring proof to training session) \nMust attend a required volunteer training session\, a virtual training option is available \nWear a volunteer vest during your shift (vests will be issued when you arrive for your shift) \nThere is a 3-step process to get signed up for a shift:  \nRegister as a Museum by Moonlight volunteer through this link: http://bit.ly/MbMIA                                                                                         \nSign-up for a training session by clicking on your training date below. (You must be signed in for the links to work). *Due to our system: You will have to register for a training date\, but you will not have to attend since you have a set training date for Indy Ambassadors which is August 3rd from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at TCM.*  \nIndy Ambassadors and Friends should park in the Children’s Museum free parking garage and enter via the skywalk to the Welcome Center. Representatives will be stationed there and will assist our group to the reserved meeting room for training. Training will be followed by a tour of the museum. The Indianapolis Children’s Museum is at 3000 N. Meridan\, Indianapolis\, IN \nIn-Person Training Sessions – for any volunteer:  \nAugust 13th from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at TCM \n\nVirtual Training Session – recommended for returning volunteers \nAugust 17th from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. \nAugust 20th from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.   \nAugust 25th from 12:00 p.m. – 1 p.m.   \nOnce you pick a training date\, you can then sign-up for a shift by clicking here.   \nThank you for considering this volunteer opportunity. DESCRIPTION:The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis: Museum by Moonlight Event brings 100 volunteers to partner with museum staff to provide a special child free night where guests 21 years and older explore five floors of the museum. The event will be held on Saturday August 27\, 2022 from 8:00pm until 12:00am August 28\, 2022 In addition\, the museum is packed with activities\, a silent disco\, and tasty food bites from across the city. \nTo volunteer for this event\, you:\n• Must be 21 years of age (bring proof to training session)\n• Must attend a required volunteer training session or a refresher training if you volunteered for this event last year.\n• Must wear all black and comfortable shoes\n• Must wear volunteer vest during your shift (vests will be issued when you arrive for your shift) \nThere is a 3-step process to sign up for a shift:\n• Step 1: Fill out the volunteer application form at http://bit.ly/MbMIA\nUpon registration\, you will receive an e-mail with more information about signing up for a training session and choosing your Shift for the evening. \n• Step 2: Go to this link: Museum by Moonlight Training Session \nNOTE: Indy Ambassadors & Friends will be trained for this event at the August General Meeting on August 3\, 2022\, from 6:00pm – 8:30pm at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum\, 3000 N.
