Our Next Meeting is Wednesday March 2\, 2022- So you Then \nAnyone who has a heart to volunteer is Welcome to the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site for The Indy Ambassadors In Person Monthly Meeting: February 2\, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm The meeting will be at the President Benjamin Harrison Home at 1230 N Delaware St.\, Indianapolis\, IN Free parking is available on the street and in the small lot off 13th and Delaware. \nThe State of Indiana proudly claims Benjamin Harrison as Indiana’s only President\, the 23rd President of the United States. Learn about the many opportunities to volunteer at the home which host many special events annually on the grounds. These events include: Live! Presidents’ Day\, Presidential Egg Roll\, Juneteenth Foodways Festival\, The Independence Day Social\, The Haunted States of America\, and the annual Christmas Festival. \nCome and hear about these events and the ambitious journey to transform the Benjamin Harrison Presidential site for generations to come. In other words\, eligible teachers get the opportunity to shop once a month and fill up a cart with 100% free items for their classrooms and schools! The average monthly shopping cart is over $500 worth of product. We provide everything from books and backpacks to high quality STEM glassware and furniture! Founded in 2000 by retired IPS principal\, Phyllis Imel\, we’ve grown from a small non-profit in a basement serving just a few schools to a multi-program organization serving over 300 schools. We’ve distributed over $6\,33\,231 worth of school supplies just this school year alone!
