St. Vincent de Paul is putting a group together to volunteer at the Indianapolis Speedway for the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” and for each volunteer participating\, St.Vincent de Paul will receive a donation of $120.00 per volunteer. A Double Win!!!! \nDate/ Time: Sunday May 30\,2021 – 4:00am – 4:00pm for anyone 18 years of age or older\nIt cost absolutely nothing and $120.00 per volunteer will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul. Volunteers will receive parking\, Indy 500 day race experience and volunteer gear. Each volunteer will need to sign a release form and provide a picture for a credential’s pass. DESCRIPTION:All Indy Ambassadors interested in volunteering for Museum by Moonlight! Should attend the August 4th\, monthly meeting which will be held at The Children’s Museum\, 3000 N. Meridian St. \, Indianapolis Shifts: from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. The presentation by Museum staff will satisfy the pre-event training required for volunteers to serve for the MUSEUM by Moonlight event on August 28th. Shifts \nThe Museum by Moonlight Event brings 100 volunteers to partner with museum staff to provide a special child free night where guests 21 years and older explore five floors of the museum. In addition\, the museum is packed with activities\, a silent disco\, and tasty food bites from across the city.\nTo volunteer for this event\, you:\n• Must be 21 years of age (bring proof to training session)\n• Must attend a required volunteer training session or a refresher training if you volunteered for this event last year.\n• Must wear all black and comfortable shoes\n• Must wear volunteer vest during your shift (vests will be issued when you arrive for your shift)\nThere is a 3-step process to sign up for a shift:\n• Step 1: Fill out the volunteer application form at http://bit.ly/MbMIA \nUpon registration\, you will receive an e-mail with more information about signing up for a training session and choosing your Shift for the evening.\n• Step 2: Go to this link: https://tcm.samaritan.com/recruiter/index.php?class=OppSearchResults&recruiterID=501&udf581=Museum%20by%20Moonlight&type=all \nSign up the Training for Saturday August 14 – 12:30-2:30pm (Even though you are being trained at the Indy Ambassadors meeting on August 4th\, 6:00-8:00pm) \nOnce you have signed up for a training.
