Our awesome volunteer train leads who handle the maintenance and opening and closing of the exhibit will need your assistance to greet our guests\, answer questions\, and keep an eye on the exhibit. \nJingle Rails is a whimsical model railroad of G-scale electric trains that ramble over trestles and through tunnels along more than 1\,200 feet of track. DESCRIPTION:Exclusive FOX Sports Cares Night Volunteer Opportunity\nThe Indianapolis Ambassadors have been chosen for a unique opportunity to assist the Indiana Sports Corp. at the Big Ten Championship on the evening of Dec 1\, 2023\, from 4-8pm at the Indiana Convention Center. \nFOX Sports is opening its Fan Fest doors to Special Olympics athletes for clinics and fun. Fourteen escorts are needed to assist athletes and their guests to and from their Fan Fest activities. \nWe will receive training on the day of the event. \nBackground and Activities\nOver 100 Special Olympics athletes will take part in basketball\, football and cheerleader clinics. The cheerleaders will have the opportunity to showcase their routine at a “closing ceremony” where trophies will also be awarded to each participant. There are many downtown options\, the closest and most convenient is the Express Parkway\, located on the southwest corner of Market & Pennsylvania Streets. This lot is connected by a covered walkway to Hilbert Circle Theatre. The garages at Circle Centre Mall with entrances on West Washington\, Maryland and Georgia Streets are also convenient. Check with the parking lots for prices. Parking may also be found at parking meters\, which are free on Sundays. Please allow ample time for parking. This exhibit is almost ENTIRELY volunteer run! Our awesome volunteer train leads who handle the maintenance and opening and closing of the exhibit will need your assistance to greet our guests\, answer questions\, and keep an eye on the exhibit. \nJingle Rails is a whimsical model railroad of G-scale electric trains that ramble over trestles and through tunnels along more than 1\,200 feet of track.
