DESCRIPTION:UPDATED:  The 500 Festival is suspending all planned\, in-person events scheduled through May 9\, 2020. The suspension of these events is in accordance with the CDC’s updated guidance to cancel\, postpone or provide virtual options for all large events for the next 8 weeks in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The 500 Festival is doing everything possible to minimize the economic impact and ramifications that will be experienced as a result of canceling these in-person events. \nAll 2020 Indy Mini events will move to virtual races. Individuals registered for this year’s races will receive details on how to participate virtually and still earn their 2020 shirt and medal. Other options\, including lending a hand in support of the 500 Festival’s free programs for kids or rolling registration over to next year\, was emailed to participants on March 19. The in-person events will NOT take place.   https://www.indymini.com/p/mini-marathon/expo \n  \nOriginal Post:  The 500 Festival Mini-Marathon Expo jump starts the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon weekend for both participants and the general public. Because the Mini-Marathon race packets are not mailed to the participants\, all Mini-Marathon and 5K runners/walkers are required to pick up their race packets at the Expo. The packets include the runner’s bib race number\, Bib-timing device\, participant shirt and other important information. The Expo is a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy the excitement that builds to the Mini-Marathon on Saturday and provides an opportunity for the general public to learn about the latest in health and fitness gear. \nThursday\, April 30: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm\nFriday\, May 1: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm

This epic race starts in the heart of downtown Indianapolis like only we could – with an IndyCar leading off each wave. The flat\, fast course is packed with thousands of the nicest volunteers you’ll ever meet and nearly 100 course entertainment acts. What makes the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon even more special is that the course includes a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (you know\, home of the Indy 500). As participants reach the Speedway’s Yard of Bricks\, many will stop to kneel and kiss the bricks. Funny tradition? Maybe. But tradition is what we’re all about!

DESCRIPTION:Holliday Park Trail Runs 2021: Saturday March 13\, 2021\, Friday March 19\, 2021 and Saturday March 20\, 2021 \nVolunteer are needed to help with these 21st annual Trail Runs to make this event a success! Holliday Park is making sure every participant\, volunteer and spectator is comfortable and safe. Therefore they will be implementing several health and safety guidelines for the this year’s events- all volunteer jobs will be outdoors \, socially distanced and masks are required. Sign up to help with Setup\, Tear down\, Race Course Marshalls\, Awards or Water Stations.
