DESCRIPTION:All aboard for the 16th Annual Fifth Third Bank Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure!\nVolunteers are needed every single day that the exhibit is open for the next three months. This exhibit is almost ENTIRELY volunteer run! Our awesome volunteer train leads who handle the maintenance and opening and closing of the exhibit will need your assistance to greet our guests\, answer questions\, and keep an eye on the exhibit. \nA beloved annual holiday tradition\, Fifth Third Bank Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure is a breathtaking model train display featuring nine G-scale trains traveling through spectacular landscapes and past famous landmarks of Indianapolis and the American West. In this dark comedy\, Ben\, a former priest\, persuades Gideon\, his younger “liberal-anti-gun-queer-feminist-PC-sensitivity trainer” partner\, to leave their cozy city life behind to flip a fixer-upper\, but he conveniently forgets to mention one detail: the house is in a historically—and currently—Black neighborhood. When Ben hires and befriends a local teenager\, Reuben\, what begins as a “fresh start” quickly spirals into a tense collision of good intentions\, buried prejudice\, and uncomfortable truths. DESCRIPTION:Popcorn Concession Sales Volunteers Needed.\nThe Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra presents Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone™ in Concert from January 30–February 1 at the Hilbert Circle Theatre. Audiences will experience the full film accompanied live by the ISO performing John Williams’ iconic score. It’s a spectacular way to revisit the beginning of the Harry Potter story. \nOur new Director of Communications\, Angel Akinleye will be leading an Indianapolis Ambassadors group. Popcorn volunteers assist with running the popcorn stands through intermission.
