This event is free and open to the public. Additional features in include a silent auction and bottle pull\, food & beverage for purchase\, cool vendors\, celebrity guests\, and live music. Gates open at 11am but the Ambassadors Meetup starts at 2pm. \nConnect with other like-minded individuals in a social setting while enjoying all this festival has to offer. This event is perfect for those who are new in town and looking to expand their social circle. Whether you’re a local resident looking to meet new people or a recent transplant seeking to build a network\, this event is the perfect opportunity to socialize and make new friends. \nTo find the group\, meet in the bar at 2pm! This magical\, community-focused evening is a free\, family-friendly celebration that transforms Spades Park into a glowing oasis of light\, music\, and art. \nVolunteer Registration: https://signup.com/go/XMosNdf \n \n🏮 “Light Up the Night at Spades Park!”\nWhen the sun goes down\, the magic begins. ✨ \nJoin us for the historic Feast of Lanterns—Indianapolis’ favorite late-summer tradition! Spend an evening under the canopy of hundreds of hand-hung\, beautifully glowing paper lanterns as we celebrate art\, community\, and the warmth of late August. \n Parking Information \nParking depends on when you are volunteering.  Friday and Sunday volunteers can utilize normal on-street parking along the park.  Saturday volunteers can try for neighborhood parking or utilize our official parking lots\, either the Teacher’s Treasures lot along 10th St or the Factory Arts parking lots.  These will be especially good choices if you are volunteering during the festival\, or if you don’t plan to leave between your shift and the festival.

SUMMARY:Public General Meeting: Indianapolis Cultural Trail
DESCRIPTION:The Indianapolis Ambassadors will revisit Indy’s Cultural Trail to see their expanded office and learn about their updated volunteer programs. \nJillian Pierce\, Volunteer Coordinator will enlighten us on the significance of Indy’s Cultural Trail and of ways that we can contribute as volunteers to this jewel of the city. The office is at 132 W. Walnut St. \nThe Indianapolis Cultural Trail is an 8-mile world class urban bike and pedestrian path in downtown Indianapolis. The trail seamlessly connects neighborhoods\, cultural districts and entertainment amenities while serving as the downtown hub for central Indiana’s vast greenway system. \nAfter the meeting\, there will be a short walking tour along the Cultural Trail. There are benches along the route\, if needed. Come learn how our Cultural Trail has helped make Indianapolis a preferred destination city for many tour companies. \nThere is ample paid street parking on Capitol Ave.\, and the Scottish Rite Cathedral has permitted us to use the North end of their parking lot. \nAll are welcome!
