The museum is also the site of the state’s largest IMAX screen. \nLearn how you can volunteer for them at special events. \nIndy Ambassadors and Newcomers are all welcome. There are no fees to join. There is FREE parking at the Fountain Square public parking lot at the corner of Shelby and Morris St behind the Forte building or Free parking on the streets\, with a two-hour restriction from 9am to 6pm M-F.\nAfter our general meeting\, A representative with the Fountain Square Association will give a presentation about the history of the area and take us on a tour. After the meeting\, we will have a social at La Margarita Mexican Restaurant\, which is within walking distance. La Margarita Menu Fountain Square is located at the intersection of Virginia Ave\, Shelby and Prospect Streets. Fountain Square was the first commercial historic district in Indiana\, its existing buildings span more than a century of development from 1871 to the present. Today\, Fountain Square is one of the six Indianapolis Cultural Districts and is linked to the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. Newcomers are welcome. There are no fees to join. DESCRIPTION:Join Indy Ambassadors for a Night of Service at Gleansers Food Bank of Indiana. All Indy Ambassadors and Friends WELCOME TO COME! \nGleaners Food Bank works with a network of more than 300 food pantries\, soup kitchens\, schools\, and community partners to fight against food insecurity in Indiana. The Indy Ambassadors have secured an opportunity to assist them in that mission by working with them during one of them upcoming Food Pantry\, Drive-Thru distributions. Volunteers will load cars with pre-boxed food and direct traffic for the contactless\, drive-thru distribution. \nWhy is this project important? We’ll serve around 500-600 households during the drive-thru distribution\, many of whom are not comfortable with in-person shopping or have disabilities or illnesses that prevent them from coming inside \nDate and time of volunteerism: Thursday\, October 6th 4:30-8pm at Gleaners Food Bank – 3737 Waldemere Ave\, Indpls\, IN 46241  Arrive by 4:15pm \nAll volunteers will register/sign up at the following link:\nhttp://indyambassadors.gleaners.volunteerhub.com/ \n!!! The office is at 132 W. Walnut St. \nThe Indianapolis Cultural Trail is an 8-mile world class urban bike and pedestrian path in downtown Indianapolis. The trail seamlessly connects neighborhoods\, cultural districts and entertainment amenities while serving as the downtown hub for central Indiana’s vast greenway system. \nThe general meeting will be conducted with limited seating. You can bring a lawn chair\, if desired. There will be a 2 block walking tour along the Cultural Trail.  There are 8 benches along the route for 2-3 people to sit on at a time. \nCome learn how our Cultural Trail has helped make Indianapolis a preferred destination city for many tour companies. \nThere is ample paid street parking on Capitol Ave.\, and the Scottish Rite Cathedral has permitted us to use the North end of their parking lot. \nIf needed\, a rain date has been scheduled for the following day. \nAll are welcome!
