Washington St.\, Indianapolis\, IN (Downtown) \nThe October General Meeting of Indy Ambassadors will be from 5:30pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday\, Oct.5th\, 2022 at the Indiana Repertory Theater\, 140 W. Washington St.\, Indianapolis\, IN \nThe meeting will be all training for Volunteering as Ushers with a Tour of Theater \nThere is parking at any of the nearby garages with meeting attenders receiving a voucher from IRT which will bring the cost to $6.00 p/car. \nShow up promptly at 5:30pm because the Theater has a performance starting at 7:30pm \nIndy Ambassadors and Newcomers are all welcome. There are no fees to join. DESCRIPTION:Join Indy Ambassadors for a Night of Service at Gleansers Food Bank of Indiana. All Indy Ambassadors and Friends WELCOME TO COME! \nGleaners Food Bank works with a network of more than 300 food pantries\, soup kitchens\, schools\, and community partners to fight against food insecurity in Indiana. The Indy Ambassadors have secured an opportunity to assist them in that mission by working with them during one of them upcoming Food Pantry\, Drive-Thru distributions. Volunteers will load cars with pre-boxed food and direct traffic for the contactless\, drive-thru distribution. \nWhy is this project important? We’ll serve around 500-600 households during the drive-thru distribution\, many of whom are not comfortable with in-person shopping or have disabilities or illnesses that prevent them from coming inside \nDate and time of volunteerism: Thursday\, October 6th 4:30-8pm at Gleaners Food Bank – 3737 Waldemere Ave\, Indpls\, IN 46241  Arrive by 4:15pm \nAll volunteers will register/sign up at the following link:\nhttp://indyambassadors.gleaners.volunteerhub.com/ \n!!! IN\nStart October 9th at 10:00am at the Tour Entrance of the Indiana State Capitol\, 200 W. Washington St. between N. Capitol Ave & Senate Ave. Parking is Free on Sundays in this area. From here we will break up into cars to go to Hard Truth Distilling Company- 418 Old State Rd 46\, Nashville\, IN for a 12:00 Noon Lunch reservation. Everyone can do what they want after Lunch. Guest can break into car based on interests. (Take Hard Truth Bourbon Tours\, Brown County State Park Leaf viewing\, Nashville\, IN shopping. Etc. \nAfter Lunch at Hard Truth Distillery those interested in participating in one of Hard Truth Tours\, individuals can pay for a tour once we arrive onsite. For Sunday\, October 9th\, the tours times are as follows:\n2pm\, 3pm\, 4pm\, 5pm\, 6pm\, and 7pm. \nOther Tour Options at Hard Truth:\nThe Tours Options are as follows:\nDive deep into the world of bourbon and rye with our Single Barrel Selection Experience. DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy fall fun with us. You can wander through the maze\, take a hayride around the farm\, sniff out your favorite pumpkin\, and enjoy so much more including apple canons! You can bring your dog if you have one and be sure to dress them up in their favorite halloween costumes\, as they have a pet costume contest and pet talent show!
