SUMMARY:October General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to have as our special guest speaker this month\, Patrick Bredlau\, Appalachian Trail thru hiker\, author\, speaker\, and photography artist. We’ll hear of Patrick’s 2\,185 mile Appalachian Trail adventure in 2014 and excerpts from his highly reviewed book\, the “Green Tunnel”. We’ll hear of everything from an FBI most wanted fugitive encounter\, which caused him to be on Entertainment Tonight and American Greed\, to humorous\, historical\, and helpful hiking tips. We’ll also see spectacular photographs from his trip that have appeared in museums and art shows as well as an interesting slide presentation\, and first hand look at the equipment he used during his 6 month hike from Georgia to Maine.
