SUMMARY:Bands of America Grand National Championships
DESCRIPTION:100 Bands from all over the country compete over three days to crown one Bands of America Grand National Champion.\nGrand Nationals opens on Wednesday\, November 9th with the Indianapolis Public Schools Marching Tournament. Grand Nationals preliminary competition is held on Thursday and Friday November 10-11th. Semi-Finals competition begins on Saturday morning\, and the event concludes with the top 12 finals competition on Saturday evening\, November 12th. \nAGE REQUIREMENT : All volunteers must be at least 15 years of age at the time of application. Volunteers under the age of 15 should be accompanied by a parent or chaperone. \nUNIFORM : All volunteers will be provided with an event volunteer T-shirt. Please wear comfortable shoes and khaki or black pants or skirt with the provided shirt for all shifts unless otherwise specified. Some volunteer positions are outdoors\, therefore jackets\, coats\, and rain gear is advised. \nTRAINING : All volunteers are strongly encouraged to download and watch the ONLINE ORIENTATION designed to familiarize each individual on all planned activities. Volunteers will be briefed on basic skills\, specific responsibilities and given an overview of event locations. More information regarding the downloadable training session will be sent to you via e-mail by November 4th. \nCOMMUNICATIONS: You will receive a final communication prior to the event. This communication will provide details regarding check-in\, parking\, meals and other important details. ALL COMMUNICATIONS WILL BE SENT VIA E-MAIL.
